Deal alert: Book premium economy to Paris from various US cities for as low as $990 round-trip
If you're considering a trip to Paris during the holiday season or even early next year, why not treat yourself to a premium economy seat? Condor, Iberia and Scandinavian Airlines are currently offering good discounts for travel to this perennial favorite. We found sale fares with decent availability from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport (ORD), Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Miami International Airport (MIA) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). Some fares are available for less than $1,000 round-trip, a really great price for Paris.
A premium economy ticket will typically earn you extra legroom — always a nice perk on a flight across the Atlantic — as well as a free checked bag. The flights in this deal include layovers, and some are mixed-cabin itineraries. For example, some Condor itineraries we found included premium economy seats for the longest portion of your travel, with the short connecting flight from Frankfurt to Paris in economy.
The travel window runs from now through May 2025, but some routes are available at a discounted rate in July of next year.

Sample flights
Condor has premium economy tickets in January from MIA to CDG available from $990 round-trip. The flight from MIA to Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is in premium economy, and the flight from FRA to CDG is in economy. You get a free carry-on and one free checked bag with this fare.
If you want to visit Paris during the Christmas season, there are good prices available in December. This Condor itinerary is available for $1,060 round-trip.
If you live in Chicago, you can book a premium economy seat on SAS from ORD to CDG in mid-January for less than $1,200 round-trip. There is an extended layover each way in Copenhagen, but that just means you have a chance to have a fun afternoon in the Danish capital. Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is only 5 miles from the city center, so you can hop on a train or Uber there and grab lunch during your layover.
You can book the same ticket out of Chicago on SAS for travel in April at the same price.
Availability for travel out of Minneapolis isn't quite as widespread as we're finding for Miami or Chicago, but there are some bargains. We found the best prices in May. You can fly Condor out of MSP to CDG, with a layover at FRA, from $1,250 round-trip. That's a solid price for this route.
